Brief History - written by Michal My sport career started in 1986, when I began to ride BMX, together with my brothers. In Bohemia I belonged to the better quarter of racers, in autumn 1991 I took part in my last BMX competition and I also drove a small speedway motorbike then (my first motorbike!). In spring 1992 I was lent a JAWA 500 by Zlatá prilba club in Pardubice. The same year I appeared with my machine in speedway competition for the first time.
Apart from these activities connected with the "cosmos" of speedway, which currently fill a considerable part of my daily programme, I go in for other sports too. In summer months I prefer swimming, riding on a mountain bike, roller-skates, climbing in the rocks and on an artificial wall. My hobbies include billiards as well as gardening and planting Bonsai trees. In winter I am busy with my snowboard and I play ice hockey.
I do not feel like characterizing myself here in a high-key way. Just read the quotation of Reinhold Messner, a mountaineer ,"Thinking about ourselves, we can´t really say what we are like! And introducing ourselves, we say just those things, which fit our egoism. We put on masks. One shows his or her character just when acting and doing".
